Paul Karslake, has become one of the most sought after contemporary artists of our time and is perhaps best known for his celebrity connections and works. He is the Brother in Law of Ronnie Wood and has painted not only the Rolling Stone's on numerous occasions but celebrities on both sides of the Atlantic. His portrait of Keith Richards inspired Johnny Depp to create Captain Jack Sparrow. His surrealist still life works are also well known and can be found in the homes of most serious collectors and are well known in Gordon Ramsey's restaurants, not least Claridges. Another notable work attracting critical acclaim is that of Kate Moss depicted with angel's wings.

Paul was born in 1958 in Essex and studied under Sir Peter Scott. In 1977 he travelled to Spain to meet Salvador Dali, who's influence can be clearly seen in his surrealist works. He was elected as a fellow of the Royal Society Of Arts in 1990 and has held numerous important exhibitions throughout Europe and the United States.

Paul's works are increasingly seen as investment pieces and he has developed what can only be described as a cult following. This work has been in a private collection since 2004.
