A large and impressive pair of Japanese Imari floor vases with covers. Decorated by hand in the traditional palette of cobalt blue with iron red and ground gold. The covers have dogs of foo finials. The vases are unusual in their scale. They are completely chip free, but there is evidence of an old repair to a foo dog finial.
