Carl Adolf Kumling

Born in Stockholm he became an apprentice to one of Stockholm's best known clockmakers, Jon Cederlund. He then moved to hudiksvall in Northern Sweden and became a well known clockmaker there. Specialising in gilt wood wallclocks he established himself in Gamla Stan (the old town) in Stockholm from c1816-20 before moving to Hudiksvall in c1820 where he continued up until his death in c1833.
